If you press <F14> key when the current file is a directory then “EDIT” window line will be empty and you can input some file specification
3.9 Find <Find> (filtering files in panels)You can filter files in panel by wildcard mask. For that press <Find> key and you will see “FIND” window with current panel filtering wildcard mask
